This is more old school than modern, but still, the message comes across. Quite nice.

Good idea, just not executed the best. Mix not as good. Drums and samples sounded too separate.

ZuneInc responds:

If you listen to this behind a wall or with speakers equivalent to cardboard boxes then yes, I agree. Mixing this was a handful, ill give you that. Main lead might be a bit too big in the bass department considering the drums. That just means its too close to the bass drum frequencies, its steppin over. Thats why there is no way theyre too separate. Didnt want them pendulumic or out of this world, just that acoustic feeling. Or are you speakin about a feeling. Cause thats debateable. Adding to the equation the upgrading of software during the production really made it difficult. My bad. But samples? Never used any in this particular piece. Next time, think it over, of what youre going to say especially when giving pointers after a negative feedback and saying it all like douche. I mean come on, the reason you gave has six words.

Does it boom? Wait for it...it does. Drums probably mixed in too low. Bass synth definitely too high. It took over frequency ranges that it had no business in, drowning out other synths.

Now does it progress? Wait for it...not as well as it could. Wait, actually, 1:58 was pretty cool.

CowardlyLion responds:

Thanks a lot! Yeah, the drums I used for most of my old track weren't really quality at all. I really needed a better kick. My bad! Wasn't too great with EQ either haha. Glad you thought it was at least pretty cool though. Thanks for listening.

Good idea, but kick drum not mixed in well enough. Arrangement needs a bit of work in my opinion in the transitions.

Not many people could put this into a dubstep song. Nothing less than revolutionary.

It's a good idea, just not well executed. Sounds like you just split the samples then hit random buttons after you placed a couple of the screams in looped positions. What would make this music great is to arrange the vocal samples with care.

deendeon1000 responds:

i did arrange them carefully

Nice. Sick.

BummerCityTown responds:

Thanks homie. <3

Lots of randomosity, but somehow you make it work. Nicely done, good mix, good development. Not something you can sleep on. Don't like that first sound by itself though. Sounds too...preloaded patch and small to stand on its own.

JustLikeAmmy responds:

thanks a lot for the feedback--this was a fun one for me to do because it's 'about' something that actually really grinds my gears xD nearly all of it is symbolic of this in some form haha--including that 'small' synth at the very beginning--you're right it can't stand on it's own and i don't like it either :D

I spent the first 45 secs waiting for the real drop. Kickdrum doesn't stick out like it should. The first 45 seconds serves as a good intro, then it needs more development.

Mix is not good. Piano does not gel well with the voice. This is like some crazy mix between a remix and a new mix that doesn't work.
